Just west of Manitou Springs aNd Colorado Springs on 24, this state park has some good hiking trails that are not extremely difficult, yet they are very scenic. Take the time to visit and hike.

I have an annual pass and live nearby. I just love the wide open vistas of the Sangre De Cristo mountain range. I can visit for an hour or the whole day. Well-maintained hiking trails are uncrowded.
