Stopped in to see the Hatchery was kind of bummed the Museum had not yet opened for the season. We did get to walk around to the fish bins and feed them. Great Experience

We, off the cuff, heard about the fish hatchery. With a handful of quarters we spent about 30 minutes waking up and down the rows of fish. Bring quarters, bring a cup or something to hold the fish food.

Great stop to learn about local wildlife, especially good for young preteens. Feed the hatchery fish while you're there!

Feed the fish, and look at awesome animals inside the little museum. Great for something quick to do off the river trail

Lots of pelts to touch and other things to see. The hatchery was so cool. Definitely bring quarters to feed the fish. Beautiful walk along the river. It's free other than fish food.

The hatchery is a great place to learn about the area and its fishing and stocking of the local waterways. The small wildlife museum is good especially for children. A definite stop while your in Durango.
