If you like flowers and seeing new varieties that may be coming up for sale at your local greenhouse this is good for a 15 minute stop. But I'd make it as a stop to somewhere else.

Walk rows upon rows of beautiful flowers some of the newest developed. Each plant is identified so you can learn their names or record it to look for it for your garden next year.

Right on CSU campus. Beautiful gardens of flowers of all kinds. The colors and textures were amazing! Wonderful!

This gem is a free and quick stop close to the campus. Lots of flowers and good spots for pictures. Would recommend if you have time. Takes no more than 10 minutes.

Ran across this by accident and we missed the judging. This was a beautiful spot to walk around and view all the annuals in bloom. Very interesting to see the new varieties. I wish we had known about it sooner and had been there for...More

The gardens at Colorado State are nothing short of amazing. First, they are wonderful to explore and enjoy the beauty. Second, they are great for those seeking advice on what is perfect for their personal outdoor spaces. Everyone should visit this beautiful park right on...More

This and the perennial garden are much improved from the old set up they had. The annuals, while varied and beautiful, are secondary to my goals. The real magic is in the perennial garden where multiple varieties of species that are hardy to our specific...More

We always enjoy the trial gardens, they are all just coming into bloom right now and should be absolutely fabulous by the end of September. Gardening in the higher elevations of CO can always be a bit challenging so it is nice to get a...More

I can't say anything original about the location that hasn't been shared. The flowers are great and it's easy to get to. While on a road trip with three kids (4,7, & 10) we stopped by to walk around before going to the drive in....More

Yes, it's wheelchair accessible. Some views, though, require getting around a foot path on the grounds. For more detail, I would contact their website thru Colorado State University.

It is free; parking is free, tho it's technically on the Colorado State University campus, so while classes are in session it can be tricky to find a spot. Later in the year, after the snow falls, many of the plants are... More
