I am radical STEM advocate and I hate to see people add other educational disciplines to the mix of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. But this is a great example of what happens when you add the beauty of Art to make great engineering and...More

This was my first visit to Fort Morgan and the reason was to see family. Although it is a pretty small town, we decided to take in the sights and very much enjoyed our self guided tour. The rainbow bridge was a very cool spot...More

The Rainbow Bridge in Fort Morgan is a great example of what could be done architecturally to make your road trips that much more enjoyable. This bridge was built as a part of a side road diversion off of the Lincoln Highway for a trip...More

I was born and raised in Fort Morgan, Colorado, and haven't been back in many years. So it was a nice surprise to see that they renovated Rainbow Bridge so you can actually take a walk on it over the Platte River.

Easy to find off Main St. It spans the Platte River is quite long. You cannot drive on the bridge, but can walk it or possibly bike it. This must have been something in it's hey day. Looks beautiful!

Take a nice walk along the South Platte and enjoy the Rainbow Bridge. Built in 1922, the original road and bridge still stand in Ft Morgan as a stellar example of a rainbow arch bridge.

Drove over it to and from Quail Dunes Golf Course. While it's shape is supposed to look like a rainbow, the bridge is made of concrete and is not what I would consider coming to Fort Morgan to see.

I've read the reviews on this, and I'm sorry, but this is not worth the stop in my opinion. We drove past it, parked on the north side, and decided the views were not worth the walk. We were there in the afternoon, however, so...More
