My husband and I rode the entire trail on a beautiful September day. Spectacular views, easy riding, friendly people along the trail. The roar of the interstate was drowned out most of the time by the roar of the Colorado River. Hope to do this...More

The trail, either walking or by bike is spectacular. High canyon walls and the roar of the Colorado combine to create a magical journey.

I have bikes all over the world, and all over Colorado as well. This is the most scenic bike path I have ever ridden. In all honesty. It's just about the most scenic bike ride I have ever ridden. It is an absolute must do.

If you don't have your own bikes with you, there are places to rent bikes and most will drive you to the top of the canyon so you just have to ride down hill. The uphill direction is never too steep, so riding both ways...More

I was part of a cycling tour that rode from Silverthorne to Glenwood Springs over the period of a few days. This trail was ranked best ride ever (except by two folks that had ridden in Germany) by our group of 28. The path is...More

We loved doing a bike ride on the Glenwood Canyon trail. We opted for a shuttle service that took us to the Bair Ranch drop off and we rode back into town. Only one big hill and so many great views! We stopped along the...More

We biked this paved, smooth trail from Glenwood Springs about 8 miles up river in 1.5 hours. We turned around and it took 1 hour to get back. It's a great trail in the bottom of the canyon, next to the road and river.

Bike rentals around are pricey, buy or bring your own. Safety first with hydration and cover. Bring your camara. Terrific views. Parking can be challenging, bring patience..

We took the shuttle up the mountain, once at the top road our bikes even further up, then road down the mountain. The view was beautiful and you could go at your own pace.

Road the Glenwood Canyon bike trail from No Name rest area to end of canyon and back. It was a beautiful day, beautiful weather, and beautiful scenery. Just took our time and enjoyed the day. Were a few other riders but overall it wasn't crowded...More

Which direction? East past Hanging Lake Trail yes. It will be predominantly up hill out. Next to a river all the way. You could lock your bikes and do the trail too. South to Aspen is about 80 miles round trip. Probably... More

It depends on weather. Once snow falls, you don't want to be riding a bike on the trail. Also, as the water rises in the Colorado River, the trail closes, as part of it becomes submerged in the river. Last year, the snow... More
