Located between Aspen and Vail, you'll find the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool. The Ute Indians called it Yampah, meaning "big medicine." Soothe your muscles after outdoor activities year round. The large pool is kept at a comfortable 90°- 93° F and the smaller therapy pool averages about 104° F. Additional amenities include a lodge, spa, athletic club, grill and shopping. Relieve muscle and joint pain, or just relax and feel the wonder of a soak in our hot springs. Soaking in hot, highly concentrated mineral water has many health benefits. Increasing body temperature helps the body naturally kill harmful germs and viruses, eliminate toxins, and increase blood flow. The absorbtion of essential minerals gives the body a natural boost. You will feel the difference within minutes of stepping in. Jump in the large pool, at over 400 feet long, and "cool down." Swim laps or practice your form on the diving board. Water slides, mini golf, and kiddie pool are available in the warmer months. Bring your own cooler and snacks, or stop by the poolside Grill to grab a bite.

The first trip I made here was 40 years ago. It is still as inviting as it was then. Very few major changes have been made and the charm is as good as ever. The diversity of the people, the soothing quality of the pool...More

The larger pool is huge! Smaller one is warmer. Bubblers to massage the back barely bubbled at all. Staff was friendly but when you only spend an hour or so there, value is just not there. Could easily cost a family a hundred bucks if...More

My daughter and I visited the pool in the off peak season so the rate was lower (17.50). We went late in the afternoon and stayed for 3 hours, which was enough. There was plenty of room in both pools. Remember to bring your own...More

The pools were wonderful, refreshing and uncrowded. The shower and changing rooms clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pools are kinda hard to find, we missed the turn several times.

We spent a relaxing afternoon "pool-hopping" at Iron Mountain's varied temp pools and had a delicious smoothie at the snack bar. Left for awhile and came back at sunset to enjoy our favorite pool facing the river. We've been to lots of hot springs and...More
