Great views, really enjoy history so it was a great visit! Road going up Is a little scary but also neat with 280 degree switch backs! Neat to see the bike riders esp coming down out of the mountain! The museum was closed because it was Easter but still got to see the grave site and surrounding area!

Buffalo Bill selected this resting spot for himself and his wife. He stated that he wanted cool breezes and great views. He got it right. It is a special resting place.

The drive is a bit scary, especially with people testing themselves riding bicycles up a winding road with cliff sides. Once up on top the views are spectacular. There is a nice museum and at the very top is Bill's gravesite. There are plenty of photo ops and viewing points.

We just moved here and wanted to do some "tourist" things and this one was good! The views from Lookout Mountain were awesome. You can't beat the $5 fee to get into the museum! There were lots of cool artifacts and we learned a lot. The gift shop was fun to look around in, and we got some homemade fudge... More

I can't say I knew much about Buffalo Bill before this visit. I learned quite a bit. He was an honorable and remarkable man. It is worth the visit. I would avoid the gift shop if I visited again.

Interesting movie about Buffalo Bills life, and his Wild West show. Many artifacts, including guns, costumes, maps and photos showing where the Wild West show played. For any one interested in early western history, this is worth a couple of hours of your time. There is a gift shop next to the museum, selling trinkets, t-shirts, jewelry, hats, etc. also a... More
