This very small amusement park is great for younger children - the alpine slide is fun for any age and a few smaller rides. The park used to have the Heritage Square Music Hall and we frequented that as often as possible over the years. It has since closed and now there isn't much to draw us there.

My wife and I went there with five grandchildren on a sunny weekend. We were told that all rides were operating, but then when about one third weren't, I complained and was told that there were insufficient staff to operate them all. We paid for extra for premium rides. However, one of the three rides were off limits to two... More

We went here on vacation this summer. We were expecting something bigger and worth the money but it was a smaller place. I first thought it was closed down because it was pretty dead, some people but not lots and it was a Saturday. and the house village in front throws you off. But once the kids went in we... More

The amusement park is still there, but the village, train, alpine slide and other attractions are gone.

I went to Heritage Amusement Park and had a blast. We only were able to do 4 things because it started to rain. First of we went to the go carts. My dad drove the 2 person go cart, because I wasn't able to drive my own. But, I still could drive the Jr. go carts. For the Jr. go... More

We stumbled upon Heritage Square in our Saturday morning search for "things to do in Denver with kids". We had trouble understanding why we had never heard of it. When we pulled into the parking lot alongside a handful of cars and walked into the park, we began to better understand why. Let me pause here and say that, in... More

The park itself is a combination of like 3-4 different parks. Each one has a fee or a different pricing. We did the downhill tube ride called an alpine slide. That was a blast. It is a little pricey because you pay per ride but a lot of fun. We enjoyed it because it was not busy at all and... More

I was so sad to learn that heritage square park and the alpine slide are soon to close permanently after more than 50 years in business. If you are planning a visit after September 2015, you may want to check the park's website to verify what vendors/attractions are still open. The alpine slide was such a blast. People from very... Went to the park with family ranging from 18 months to 55 years old. There were only about a dozen rides most for smaller children. Most of the attractions were closed up but the food court was open. Ticket prices were pretty good and so was the food. I recommend if you are taking children between 3-10 yrs old and... More
