This is a must see if you love trains. There is a great area where they are all set up and you can even take a ride on a train. I was there one time and I loved it.

If you have even the slightest interest in railroads, I recommend this visit. The HO display was incredible, the outdoor gauge trains were extremely well done and the display of engines and cars was outstanding. Loved the cabooses and the Coors train.

For my reviews, I try to stick to specifics, what things were as I observed them, and I try not to let my feelings get in the way of my observations. I will fail that standard for this review. My feelings for the museum run...More

Captivating. Fun. Informative. Run by friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable people willing to share their stories. They even opened up cars for us to look inside. Now, if only they had a coffee shop.

Thank you for visiting the Museum and for taking the extra time to leave a review. I will state we have heard requests for some sort of cafe before and we are looking at options for using our Dining Car more frequently..... Best wishes!

Very cute place for kids 10 and under. But it is intresting for the older ones when you go on the train ride because the conductor tells you stuff about the surrounding areas. Had a great visit.

This museum is a really fun trip to make. Lots to learn and see, with the foothills as a backdrop. Not very crowded, which surprised us, because it's such an accessible, fun place to look at some incredibly useful engines of the past, as well...More
