We stayed at this park after a day in Moab Utah. We took the scenic drive up from Moab along the Colorado River and stayed here at the island acres location for the evening. The campsites were spread out a little bit and the views...More

I was charged $33 a night for campsites that had no shade, running water or a place to put my tent. I was told there were flush toilets but they're clear on the other side. I agree the freeway is really loud. The campsites are...More

There are many "sections" of this trail. Maybe we picked the wrong one. It was not scenic at all. The area fronting the river was an industrial park. The view to one side was the river which was littered with large chunks of broken concrete,...More

Took my two Grandsons fishing here during their spring break. We fished off the shore and on the fishing pier. Had our picnic lunch, walked on trails around the lake and generally had a great time. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. Ample parking,...More

A lovely stadium. It looks so great with the setting of the mountains around it. It is a must see when visiting Grand Junction

This modern, well laid out, park is a half-mile off I-70, for easy on/off, although I fail to see the engineering need for two back-to-back roundabouts right off the freeway. The park rangers were friendly. The maintenance staff cleaned and raked every site as it...More

When we stayed, the campground was full. But it wasn't noisy. Even with the highway nearby it wasn't bad. Long trails to walk on around the lakes.
