Our grand children and I stayed at mom and dads house for her birthday while we were traveling the area. There is a hidden spot in Grand Juctionn that you can get into the Colorado River and play. As well as a wonderful dinosaur museum

Loved the bookstore and art around town. Lots of dining options and plenty of culture. It was a nice place for a stop on a road trip.
