Anytime is great although the parking can be tough in weekends. Super friendly staff in a laid back atmosphere. If you're looking for upscale this is not it. No fancy clothes, just a great mountain.

My 10 yr old daughter Geneva got on skis for the very first time Tuesday morning and after 2 full days of lessons, she was skiing blue runs with me on Thursday. I was very impressed with the whole set up for ski school – the kids are so well taken care of and the process is great for parents.... More

Been skiing here for almost 40 yrs. My favorite place to ski. Mostly blue and black runs so experience is recommended. They do have an easy way down so beginners can enjoy as well. BEST SNOW IN Summit County!

If you are looking for a place that is not overrun with small kids and an excellent value - look no further than A-basin. The majority of the runs here are for the more advanced skier and thus not a lot of younger beginning children. My kids loved the resort - great snow, lift lines were minimal wait time (5... More

A-basin offers great options for nearly all skiers and the views of the "basin" are stunning. Went with my teenage son on warm but gusty weekday day and found the snow conditions outstanding. Also - a tremendous value compared to nearby resorts.

Am over 60 and this is still my favorite place to ski. Never miss at least one day at the Legend every ski trip to Colorado. Over the years they have expanded the terrain with the Montezuma Bowl and added Black Mountain Lodge at the old hamburger shack but it still has the dirt-bag vibe (Long live the Beach). Soaking... This is still one of the greatest values there is. Prices are reasonable and the place is fantastic! Service, quality of runs, views, etc. are as good as anywhere, yet still feels like the family-run old school ski area it has always been. Montezuma back bowl is amazeballs and is as good as anything found at the Vail/Epic properties nearby.... More

One of the best ski areas in America. (I actually debated writing this review because if too many people flock here it will spoil A Basin) Close in parking, very short lift lines and great runs. Visit on Saturday or Sunday because I'll be skiing M-F.

Great mountain, very little crowd and totally enjoyed the terrain. Probably the highlight of our 3 day trip!
