Last minute trip- spring skiing still open!! We have a toddler and wanted him to try snowboarding lessons for him- so glad we did!! J.D was his instructor and was absolutely amazing with him. Well worth it! Friendly staff.

This ski area is very laid back and affordable. Single day lift tickets are cheap and so is the food/drinks. There's free parking. It tends to not be too crowded and is open late into May. The backside has some nice terrain. The terrain tends...More

YES so good. Don't miss the backside! Lots of variety of runs, though I would say beginners will be limited to ~1 lift (which is still lots of fun!). There's a lot of cool terrain, with some for beginners, most for intermediate/advanced, and lots for...More

We traveled to Arapahoe Basin April 21-22 for some late season skiing. When we arrived, snow was falling almost the full day on Saturday. They have a good beginners area to get comfortable before going up the mountain. The diversity of skill level runs was...More

We had a great time at A-basin. Great conditions, laid back atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Kids snowboarded 2 days for free. Spent a lot of time on the bunny slopes.

Smaller than Breck, but it was fantastic. the slopes offered a lot of challenges for intermediate (me) and advanced (not me.) I stuck to the regular trains, but buddies took the more advanced trails and had a great time. The place feels a little less...More

Best prices for lift tickets in Colorado. But those slopes are steeper than what you will see on many of the slopes in the area Super chill vibe here. Great people and also amazing BBQ at the mid mountain lodge.

I have never experienced such HORRIBLE customer service in my life. BECKY Mcdill should NOT have a job at A basin. I have lived in summit county for 3 years and have gotten my mother 3 lessons. I have never been treated worse than anyone...More

Great place to enjoy a true ski experience. The mountain is more on the advanced side. It has some options for beginners, but is more geared to higher level intermediates and advanced skiers. The Montezuma Bowl is awesome, but it's steep and has some obstacles...More

From the perspective of a lower-intermediate skiier, A-Basin was a lot of fun! It was nice to find quality snow the last weekend in March. There were enough green and milder-blue slopes to keep us fully entertained for a day. Definitely there are many more...More

I don’t recall any right at the chair lift. We stayed at Keystone in a condo by the village and drove to the basin lift and went up the lift to the wedding reception. It’s only a 10 minute drive from Keystone. Google it... More

I agree 100% with Mike. Also, be sure not to wear too much cotton (for layers) as it doesn't help with getting the sweat out of your body. It actually retains it and that would make you feel cold. A-basin is one of our... More
