The restoration is fascinating. The fact that there's a synagogue that is from the heyday of leadville when this town was bigger than Denver is boggling. And the historical presentation, visuals, cases, and displays were so well done.

Really nice (and free) museum. Learned a lot about Leadville in general and the previous Jewish community there. Also visited the Jewish cemetery, which is across the street from the main cemetery on the edge of town.

Take 15 minutes to learn about Jewish life in the late 1800's in a small mining town. There are artifacts, newspaper reproductions describing how Jews were part of the town.

Beautiful restoration of an historic synagogue. Interesting exhibit inside and a friendly person welcoming visitors. It's one block from the main street of Leadville, so it's an easy stop.

Great staff to answer questions. Beautifully restored, Complimentary postcards. Close to main street in Leadville. Several very old documents are framed on the walls of the temple. Very interesting to read. Gratuity is appreciated, but not asked for by helpful staff.
