This was a fun excursion for the fall foliage in Leadville. The train ride is well narrated so you know some of the history and the area the train goes through on the mountains. It is a great value as well not over priced for...More

Good fun for most ages. Maybe not great for small kids because it goes on for about 2-1/2 to 3 hours and it is mostly trees. I loved it though.

A great trip through history with wonderful vistas. One of the more fun, scenic and interesting train rides I've take. Good value.

Just wow. We hit it just right to see the Aspens. The open car was cold, but worth it for the breathraking view. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's mine.

We rode the train up on a beautiful fall day. Nice ride but this falls into the been there done that category- no need to do again . Some nice views. If you're under 70 you will be in minority .

This train ride was great. We could change cars, sunny or shady, and the train conductor was very informative, giving area history in a one hour narrative. They sold snacks on board. I recommend sunscreen & a shady hat that can't be blown off. The...More
