Great hiking

Fun park in the foothills to hike. I highly recommend it, but it gets hot so don't forget your water bottle.

Excellent for a day hike with great views. Though the bikers are sometimes a problem as they come down the trail crazy fast and sometimes it is scary to try to get out of the way in time. I am sure they are griping that I am on the trail while I am griping that they are.

Beautiful park with even better views. The trails aren't too difficult and they definitely provide a workout. You're able to see Denver from certain elevations as well.

I wasn't sure where I was going, but it was interesting all the way. Turned out to be 6 miles. With the most exciting part being the angry rattlesnake that kept a bunch of us at bay. A brave hiker took a long pole and flung the snake off the trail to the relief of all of us. It was... More

Starting at the nice paved parking area, we quickly found the trail heads looked up to the peak that was about 4 miles ahead, and expressed our satisfaction with the early June day we were enjoying. This trail is plenty wide enough that those coming up and down can pass each other with ease. There were beautiful Spring flowers lining... More

Great place for a nice walk/hike. The parking certainly filled up by 10.30am, luckily that's when we were leaving. You can walk as long or short as you like, there's plenty of trails that join into each other. Look out for other walkers, runners and bikers. The trials get busy but not too crazy. The trails can be a little... More

Absolutely spectacular. It is close to Littleton and has breathtaking views and beautiful wildflowers. I often see wildlife as well. Easy to moderate hikes. It can be rocky and get muddy very quickly if it starts to rain. You should start early to avoid the heat since it is not very high.

Beautiful place to hike, not far from Denver. We hiked on a Friday morning about 9:30 and surprisingly, it wasn't busy. I've been there a few times, hiking and snow shoeing. Highly recommend!

Yesterday's hike was our first at this park. Because it is so close to town, we found the trails to be busy. There are several trails, some for mountain bikes and hikers. A few trails are just for hikers. The scenery is nice and trails are well maintained. We did see a rattlesnake. Just be aware as you walk. We... More

It was a beautiful sight to see. After a long day of doing business work, it was nice to go and relax and see something different.
