We enjoyed the visit to the art exhibit as well as the permanent collection. The farm visits are very interesting. We really liked the conversation with the volunteers at the 1860 farmhouse.

This place is great. Kids get to run around on the large property and see animals, frontier buildings, and a real blacksmith at work. The inside of the museum holds little interest for them, but it is a great outing on a sunny day.

This museum has it all! Lots of hands-on activities for kids, plenty to see and room to run around and explore. Kids and adults of all ages can learn something new and will appreciate the detail the museum has to offer on Pioneer life in the mid- late 1800s.

Littleton museum is a peaceful walk back in time. I visited when I was a child and now I love taking my kids back. The indoor interactive museum is nice but we LOVE walking though the old farmhouse, watching the blacksmith demonstrations, seeing the farm animals and pretending to be in school in the old schoolhouse. The grounds are beautiful... More

We've been going to the Littleton Museum for years and years. Depending on the time of the year, you can see baby lambs, piglets, chickens, and calves. Besides farm animals, there are peacocks roaming freely, as well as geese. You literally step back in time when you enter this place. On one side of the property you will find a... More

We have been coming to the Littleton Museum for over 30 years with our kids and now our grandkids. It's so nice for a short visit with little ones or a more extended visit to view the museum exhibits and the farms. They also have some great programs for kids in the summer and family activities around the holidays. Love... More

Great place to take children. They can run or walk at their own pace seeing the animals up close on the two farms. There is also an island which can be accessed across a bridge.

Littleton Museum is an awesome way to step back in time. Visit the historic farm sites, old school, and blacksmith shops. See the farm animals (kids love this) The grounds are beautiful and the best part is that it's all free!

It makes you truly appreciate how easy we have it in modern times when you visit this museum. They must have worked so hard caring for the animals, tending the gardens, cooking, etc. The ice cutter boat fascinated us, along with the tools used and the lowered room to store the ice. The staff were enthusiastic, the grounds well kept... More

The museum is free to attend and has some awesome buildings that are great photo opps. Inside the museum has cool renderings of Littleton from its inception as well as historical facts.
