This attraction is unusual in the fact that how many times have you ever been able to ride in a Cog train? Your guided ride gives you amazing views. Once on top you can browse in the gift shop as well as have a snack...More

Amazing trip on the railway. The scenery was spectacularly bleak and also foggy. You can feel a bit light headed at the summit but the donuts and coffee were good. I imagine in summer it would be awesome. Well worth a visit.

Took the train with my family and thoroughly enjoyed it! The scenes are breathtaking and the narrator on the train was cheesy and funny. The shop at the top was a nice chance to get out and stretch your legs and have a little snack,...More

For the price, this is a great way to get to the top of Pikes Peak. About 1 1/4 hours to the top with great sites along the way, especially once you start getting above the tree line. We had 81 degrees at the bottom...More

Hi there, Thank you for your question. Our trains do not turn around at the summit, there is an engineer stand at both ends of the train. So if you're facing forward on the way up, you will be on the same side, going... More

Hi there, Thank you for your question. We do not have an age limit for the train so we do have people of all ages ride the train. If you have any other questions please call our ticket office. Thank you, Cog Railway

Hi there, Thank you for your question. Altitude effects everyone differently and is mainly caused from dehydration. You will lose over a liter of water just from sitting on the train while gaining elevation. The oxygen we... More
