If you like museums, and the old west, this is a must see. A docent (guide) will take you through buildings inside of a building. For example go through a saloon, dentist’s office, general store, post office, and much more. These rooms/buildings are made to...More

What an amazing museum, with such attention to detail, and we could easily have spent a day there, as there is just so much to see, read, and to learn about. Yes, there really is 500,000+ artifacts! Incredibly friendly volunteers, and we were fortunate enough...More

From the outside this museum seemed like many others but it certainly wasn't. The guide was excellent and he showed us round the buildings, each building was furnished with appropriate artefacts. Inside the main building were more examples of life in the west. The owner...More

The collection of genuine Frontier buildings and items is very impressive but what's even better is the enthusiastic and knowledgeable 2 hour guided tour of close to 15 buildings that you get for just $10! Absolutely worth a visit, we loved it!

Sorry you were somewhat disappointed! The facts are that I started collecting artifacts at age 4 and had my first museum at age 8. Also there is no "fabrication" about the term "bean counter". Collectors, antique dealers, etc., refer to similar counters as bean counters,...More
