This was a great informative little stop just outside of Denver. We were glad we paid for the tour guide (Dino Dan). He was so knowledgeable and made us feel like a kid eager to learn more.

Dino Ridge is great if you have small kids or are really interested in dinosaurs. The self-guided road is quite steep so the $8 shuttle is good for transport. The shuttle driver stops at three sites and gives you some narration on what you're looking...More

Although out of the way for those staying in metropolitan Denver, it is definitely worth seeing these natural history wonders. The dinosaur tracks and other imprints are amazingly well-preserved, and going out on the tour bus with a guide definitely adds to the experience. Even...More

Our family of 4 (kids are 10 and 12), absolutely loved this attraction. We had low expectations, and really debated whether to take the bus tour, especially because when we arrived, they told us the next tour would not start for 45 minutes. We reluctantly...More

We had a nice time seeing dinosaur tracks and prints. On the day we were there they had just opened a display of a raptor claw marks. It is a steep grade up the mountain so I would recommend paying for the shuttle.

It was super melting hot outside so I decided to take the shuttle. This was the best decision ever. The guide was funny with very good explanations about discoveries on Dinosaur Ridge. This will be your best 8$ spent for sure!

We loved this adventure. We spend about 2 hours here. We touched and saw real Dino bones and fossils. You can walk or take the shuttle- I would recommend the shuttle!! So worth it and the guide was fabulous!!

We were a little hesitant on this one. The website is super cheesy. And the visitors center has a similar motif. We opted to skip the museum and bus tour and did the free self guided tour. It is super steep, so we'd recommend that...More

We had such an awesome time – my daughter was just in probably the whole idea of dinosaur tracks! It's always a great visit and there's always something new to learn!

We stopped here on our way back from Red Rock Amphitheater to I-70. About 3 mile round trip walk from the roadside will take you millions of years back. Ridge has interesting geological features, has fossilized bones and tracks of dinosaurs and crocodilian preserved in...More

The road part of the tour to see the footprints and the major things you see on the guided tour had a pretty decent incline, but is doable fairly easily if you are in at least moderate shape. If you mean getting of the main... More

Yes as long as they are on a leash. Do be aware that there is the potential for snakes on and off trail so do try to keep dogs out of tall grass.
