This place is pretty darn fun. You don't have to pay the fee at the gift shop unless you want to let your kids dig for "fossils" (plaster recreations) and see the exhibit hall, or take their shuttle up the hill. Again, if you're into...More

Stopped here while just driving by. It was a refreshing walk that I needed. I think kiddos would really dig this place. It's a very easy 1-2 mile walk along the ridge. The Dino tracks are awesome. Great spot to snap a pic of your...More

I am a bit mixed on this review. I think that it would have been a lot different if I was traveling with children. The information was great and there are real dinosaur fossils that stretch the view of Denver being originally underwater. The museum...More

Dinosaur Ridge is the place they discovered some of the more famous species of dinosaurs, so it's definitely worth a look. There's a bus tour or a walking (self) tour. On the day we went, they were short-staffed and were unable to do the bus...More

We found the tour to be enjoyable. Dino Dan helped keep it interesting for our 2 young children (the only ones on the tour) by interacting with them. Our tour size was small which allowed for lots of time for more information & questions (as...More

This was our second free attraction for the day (Red Rock amphitheater being the other) and we were delighted with the museum and visitor center and dinosaur items. The museum is small but interesting, especially the dinosaur eggs. You can walk up to the tracks...More

We took the guided bus trip up the mountain, and not only was it affordable, but it was very interesting. Our bus driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. She actually showed us what we were looking at. The hill can be walked for free, but...More

Yes as long as they are on a leash. Do be aware that there is the potential for snakes on and off trail so do try to keep dogs out of tall grass.
