A great place for all ages, from the visitor's center and dinosaur tours to a great hike. The Ridge has real dinosaur footprints in the rock and you can see wave marks as you hike. There are also bus tours for those unable to do the walking. The hike is about 7 strenuous miles round trip or you can do... More

We opted to take the bus tour (45 minutes total). It was very reasonably priced, our guide was informative, entertaining, good with both kids and adults! We got to stop, see the fossils, the kids got to touch and climb, adults could take pictures, and anyone could ask questions. The land is beautiful, and our guide was knowledgeable enough to... We passed this site on the way to our condo several years in a row. After taking a wrong turn on one of our days off from skiing, we decided to stop by and check it out. The facility is mostly set up for education of children, but when we stopped, we were the only ones on the site. After... More

Beautiful walk with really interesting sections to stop along the way and see fossils, bones and rock formations. Great for kids and the perfect way to see the scenery of Golden. Good gift shop too and small museum too look around which had interesting models of dinosaurs and things that the kids can pick up - worth a few minutes... More

This is a cool but small park for families and anyone interested in dinosaurs. The fossils themselves are very cool to see. The tour is fairly basic; it helps to interact with your guide--my friend and I were with a family, and we talked and asked questions, but the family did not. It's not a must-see unless you are particularly... More

Very educational for the kids. We took the tour bus with a guide, but you can walk it by yourself. He was very knowledgeable and we saw and touched many fossils.

Loved it everything was clearly marked & the main paved trail was good for everyone. Its a nice place to introduce people to dinosaur fossils & how they're discovered. The wall of footprints was exceptional. There are also some steep unpaved trails we didn't explore.

Awesome dinosaur tracks! And the view was cool! Great place to take the youngsters and those interested in archeology! A bit of walking, but it was worth it, there's also a tour bus you can take. For the handicapped, just ask the DRM folks for a magnetic door sign. You can drive up the road on your own, no walking.... More
