Our first camper location for a trail run. Good.

We broke in our new truck and camper here. It was about what I'd expected really being long time Colo residents. This isn't much of a kids place however. I would say this is... read more

We broke in our new truck and camper here. It was about what I'd expected really being long time Colo residents. This isn't much of a kids place however. I would say this is more for fishing and boating. Lots of huge carp in the water and going in late October, we saw only a dozen other campers in the... More

We camped here over Labor Day weekend. We like the spots in the loops because they are pretty big for our group of 20+. This park has flushing toilets and quarter operated showers. I like coming here because the drive is short if you are in the metro area but after this trip I'm pretty turned off. The main reason... More

We wanted to rent a jetski for my brother's 18th birthday. The rental service was godawful. They were rude overall. They offered us times they didn't have and asked for a thousand dollar deposit in CASH. It was obvious they simply didn't want to rent to us and were too lazy to come to the marina.s Absolutely terrible service and... More

A group of of us went to Jackson lake for the weekend and we really enjoyed our site. We rented 4 sites and the area was clean and full of shade. The visitor center kept our little ones busy with activities and movies. The area has lots of mosquitoes/flies, but hey its camping. The managers and rangers were really friendly.... More

We had a family reunion at Jackson Lake this weekend and the lake was teeming with dead carp, which created a really nasty smell. Angry red ants were biting everyone on the beach. And horseflies were out with a vengeance. Other than that, the lake is beautiful and the campgrounds and bathrooms/shower were nice and clean. You can take a... More

This was my second time to the lake in 3 years. It seems to always have dead fish floating throughout the lake, washing up on shore and it stinks. The smell is awful and the bugs are plentiful. I am not sure what is going on with the dead fish, but someone needs to either tell you that is what... More

We arrived here on a Friday night, set up our tent, having to pick up pieces of broken glass from the campsite. There were RVs all around us, running generators, which we figured would at least stop during quiet hours at 10PM. Well, 10PM came and went, generators running loudly past midnight when I finally fell asleep. It wasn't until... More

The first time I vivid yes this lake I thought it was beyond beautiful. Don't get me wrong, it's still beautiful but the water is just gross. My friend went in with a white shirt and when he came out, the shirt was completely green. It's nice to go for a bit and enjoy the sunset but besides that it's... More

We stopped overnight on a driving trip on our way to Denver, based on a recommendation from the visitor center when we came over the state border. What a mistake! Campsites are exposed with very little shade to be had, and very close to each other. Also, beware that there is no food to be had for many miles around... More
