First of all you should know there is a cost of $4 pp for the entrance fee. It was worth it though! $3 if you're a senior. The walk was described to us in the office as an easy walk but I do not agree...More

This canyon and waterfall are so unique, it's worth paying a little to keep the walkways and access safe.

Nice easy walk to the Box canyon waterfall which we did with small children. Some of the adults and older children then climbed the 95 steps and the 200ft climb to the top for the amazing views of the canyon. Well worth the entrance fee

We enjoyed walking around here. It is very pretty and not at all strenuous. Most of the path is paved. We also brought a bag lunch and ate at a picnic table. There are some nice lookout spots.

Highly recommended. If you can climb stairs unassisted, you can do this. there is an entrance fee. Very interesting facts posted along the way. Maintained by the city of Ouray.

RV probably would have trouble in the lot immediately next to the visitors center where you buy tickets. There are many places in town to park RVs and you can walk to Box Canyon via the perimeter trail or city streets and... More

Yes you do. I don't recall the amount but it wasn't substantial. Just a few dollars and completely worth it!
