This was our first time snowboarding so we don't have much to compare it too, however we had a great time. All the trails are well maintained and there are a variety of levels. We did two days of the snowboard school and are leaving comfortable with blue trails. There were a lot of instructors, but all were very knowledgeable... More

It isn't Lake Tahoe, but this hidden treasure has a lot to offer. Will be returning as often as possible, next time with family and kids.

This resort has great runs for beginners and advanced skiers or snowboarders. Also has great schools for beginners! Prices were great for whole days and half days! Resort personnel and employees very helpful and friendly! Can't wait to go back!

I made the mistake of booking a weekend of skiing here during the Presidents Day weekend. I've decided to break my review down into a list of pros and cons with letter grade assignments: Pros: (1) Wolf Creek has an excellent quantity and quality of snow that makes for a great ski experience. Grade: A- (2) The hamburgers at the... More

First day was great. Except some ski rental personnel were making fun of tourists. Next day skiing was the most crowded I have ever seen Wolf Creek. One parking lot attendant was stressed out and was short with my teenage son (new driver) when he was parking the car. Snow was great.

Get to wolf creek early, the lines were very long for everything. Maybe it was a holiday weekend, but we waited an hour for gear, for food, and 30 minutes for lift tickets. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I would buy lift tickets and gear online to speed the process up. If you are a beginner or first... More

Such a find! Cheap prices (lift tickets, food, drinks, parking), impeccable snow, lots of varied terrain to explore, and probably one of the friendliest and most authentic staff at any ski mountain Ive experienced in over 35 years of skiing. Not much vertical, which lands you on the lifts often but the lack of crowds more than makes up for... More

Affordable with some amazing runs! Some of the run signage/maps aren't very clear and we got lost on the mountain several times and ended up on runs we didn't intend on going down. For what you pay at other resorts, it's a price I'm willing to pay! The lodge is crowded and hard to navigate through tables but the food... More

Since it was our first time skiing, we took the beginner class, which, wasn't any more expensive than getting lift tickets in the first place. However, the staff generally seemed more annoyed at trying to help first-timers than excited to get us involved. I had to quit after the 2 hour lesson because my knees and hip were killing me,... Parking was controlled and clean. The ticket office moved people along smoothly. The snow was good, the lifts are mostly deluxe and very nice, and parking was guided and clean. The snow was very good and trails were maintained and plowed. Overall, the skiing was wonderful!
