I cannot say enough about these guys. Ken and Tatem (sorry lady I know I misspelled that) are so friendly and welcoming. The wines are absolutely delicious and the environment is serene and welcoming. The only downfall is that I tend to leave all my money there... their new renovations like the bar top and sliding barn door are beautiful!... More

A must stop while in the area. Well worth the drive. These wines are only able to be purchased there at the winery. The owner Ken is very friendly, funny ,very knowledgeable and provides a very pleasant and personable visit. Wines run around $40 but the wines are well worth the price.

Wonderful wines all grapes grown by Ken. Chardonnay was light and fantastic. Cabernet Savignion is my favorite 😊

Ken makes great wines and serves them in a really unique and casual setting. My fiance and I really enjoyed our time with him...he even invited us out to his back porch to hang and drink a glass of wine with him in between his tastings!

Wonderful wines, amazing location, perfect host. We have sent many people to Palisade and this is the one place we are sure to send our friends, they always come back with amazing reviews.

While it's a bit out of the way if you're staying more near old downtown Palisade, the people there make it completely worth the drive. It's in gorgeous countryside, and you get to drive through picturesque vineyards to pull up to a winery in a garage. The owner personally helped us do some tastings, then showed us his entire setup,... More

Not too far from Grand Junction this quaint winery is as grassroots as it gets. This entrepreneur owns 6 acres and manages another 15 to produce his own grapes. He oversees everything from planting to glass. Very knowledgeable down to earth owner. Best Chardonnay I've ever had. There was not a wine I didn't like.

We stopped at Hermosa on our way back from Utah to Fort Collins. We wanted to stop at one winery in the Palisade region, and this one was higher ranked than most. I liked a couple of the wines, but several were too harsh-tasting for my liking. The guy serving was pleasant, but not real friendly. He was annoyed when... More

I'm sorry Sophie you had a bad experience here at the winery but there are a few things I'd like to clear up. First, while the 06 Chardonnay is not for everyone, it does have a loyal following and is the only Chardonnay I've been pouring at the winery for awhile. So it was an 06 you tasted here. It... More

Wow. Reading the reviews, it is impossible to add much of anything. Except to say that we really enjoyed Hermosa. The owner/winemaker/carpenter/tech guy and sales guy extraordinaire, Kenn, is entertainment in a realm of his own. The wines we tasted fit our palate and we bought a couple of bottles to enjoy later. We’ll be the first to admit, having... More

Hermosa is absolutely the most delicious stop you will have in Palisade. As a Colorado Native and a frequent annual visitor to the town, it's a must. I personally dream about HV's Merlot all the time and coupled with the most friendly service and relaxed atmosphere of the vineyard, you will dream about it too. Best Cab Franc around and... More
