Pueblo isn't a fancy place. The Riverwalk is a pretty good attempt at having a nice outdoor area for the community. It is generally well-maintained, except for once in a while when the water gets stagnant. It's a nice safe place to get outside and take a short walk or people watch. And air conditioning is never far away during... More

What a disappointment! When we met another walker I asked:"Where is the water?" NOTE: the water is drained in February and March!!!!! We walked for a while anyway.....and instead of trying to find a campsite w/our 20 ft.motorhome at Lake Pueblo State Park, we continued up to Colorado Springs. I'm sure with water running......vendors about and LOTS of sunshine, Riverwalk... More

The River walk in Pueblo is not a real river but a concrete culvert that stinks to high heaven, Water gets nasty in the warmer months and stinks, not really any attractions to see there.

This 1.5 mile meandering paved trail follows the Arkansas river in town. Restaurants along the way and easy access to the Main Street. It was being dredged for cleaning when I was here but it still made for a nice walk.

I have been during all seasons and I have yet to be disappointed. There is a cute little trail that enables you to follow the river around and be comfortable. There is a Veteran's Bridge that crosses over the river which commemorates those who served in various wars. It is a great tribute. Just dress for the weather and you're... More

There is something for everyone at the Riverwalk no matter what season. Art crawls, coffee shops, dining, wine, cigars, just walking, entertainment, and street fairs!! Luv it

Go for a calzone at Angelo's on the Riverwalk...spring and summer afternoons on the patio are the best. Staff is friendly and the food is excellent.

Not a must see but very surprising for small town, fishing in the middle of town, how often do you see that?
