Didn't know Pueblo had this.

Great place to visit and take grandkids and anyone who loves airplanes. You can actually get into the airplanes.

The Weisbrod Aircraft Museum is another fantastic aviation museum with some really good exhibits, most notably a Boeing B-29 Superfortress ‘Peachy’ that’s being restored. There are many aircraft on display, most inside the two hangers and a few outside which you can check out as you move between them. There’s an area dedicated to the B-24 bomber in which Pueblo... I've lived in Pueblo all my life and never made it to this museum. What a shocker! It was wonderful! So full of history. Great location near our airport and easy to get to. Don't forget to browse their awesome book store for a wide variety of books and gift ideas! This is a must see for all ages!

Great little gem of a local museum!! Amazing displays of WWII and the aircraft used. Little kids would probably be bored. Its not easy to find and most locals don't even realize its there! There is a great gift shop. Anyone interested in WWII needs to tour this place!

I had limited time to see this museum, and some of it's outdoor aircraft displays are pretty weather worn-- a B-47, a P2V-7 and a Marine C-119 are in need of some TLC. Two hangars have some interesting aircraft I haven't seen in other museums--an F-11F-1 Tiger and a Douglas Skyray being notable. There is an excellent history of Pueblo... More

During our weeklong vacation to Colorado, we visited four aviation museums. All four were educational. The museum volunteers absolutely made the visit awesome. This museum has some space/rocket items on display too, including a space shuttle tire (that has flown in space). And visitors are encouraged by the volunteers to touch the tire. Love the "hands on" experience in museums.

I visited Weisbrod a few months ago with the Curator of the UCCS Heller Center for Arts & Humanities in Colorado Springs, while she was developing a collaborative exhibit featuring wartime art works owned by each institution. It's an easy 45-minute drive south to Pueblo, and this place is easy to find. Didn't really know what to expect, but here's... More
