This was a great mountain bike adventure for our group of friends. We opted for the 5 day Telluride to Gateway because we had already biked the Whole Enchilada last October. We called ahead last year and were told this route had more single track...More

When you think "bucket list", you should imagine a bike trip like this. 250-ish miles and 25,000-ish feet of climbing (GPS glitch increased our miles and climbing a bit) of challenging, technical single track to gravel grinder maintenance roads from Durango, CO to Moab, UT....More

My group just completed the Telluride to Moab route and I give it 4/5 stars simply because I did not have the option for 4.5 stars. We booked the trip last October, during the "deal day," I believe and had our 8 riders lined up...More

Hi Jerry, Can you please send me an email at info@sanjuanhuts.com and let me know which hut had a sleeping bag with a broken zipper so we can replace it. Thanks! Kelly

Recently biked from Durango to Moab using San Juan Huts. Likes: 1. We did all alternates - very good route. Mix of trail, gravel road, double track and a very small amount of pavement. 2. Huts were well-stocked. Not a lot of fresh food, but...More

This was an awesome mountain biking adventure/trip! If it's not on your biking "bucket list", it should be. The huts were clean, comfortable and well stocked with a great variety of food and drinks. They even provide a cookbook to make meals using the foods...More

Great trip. Hut locations were phenomenal. Trail maps were spot on (Minor GPS file updates needed.) Would be five stars if some really minor issues were addressed. Lanterns were hit or miss. Some utensils missing. Mostly great though.
