We have attended this event for many years. This year, the music was just so-so. The best groups were on Friday night, i.e. Train, Andy Grammer. The other days were pretty disappointing, musically., and otherwise. When you compare this lineup with Hozier, No Doubt, Lenny Kravitz, Rodrigo & Gabriela, etc., it was very weak. The management of this event needs... More

The last day was ridiculously crowded. People gave up trying to get in and sat on the grass outside. We bought Deck seats so that we wouldn't have to fight the crowds. What a joke. There we no seats in this packed area until someone found some folding chairs stashed behind the porta-pottys. Where to put them...another challenge. Drink choices... More

We've enjoyed JAS Aspen for years and this visit was no exception. We went to two performances this week, the first was with a 13 year old jazz piano prodigy named Joey Alexander- he was fantastic and definitely memorable, great things await him. The venue was at the Aspen Cooking School which made for an even more interesting evening. Our... More

We attended the June experience at the Jazz festival and the people watching alone was worth the price of the concert tickets. We caught a shuttle from downtown and walked back after the concert due to no shuttle available. There is no parking at the venue. It was about 2 miles and a nice evening, so plan on comfortable shoes... More

I went to JAS when their headliner was Mumford & Sons and we absolutely loved it! We had tickets through Vivid Seats and received VIP treatment. Everyone at the festival was so nice and helpful, and the transportation to and from couldn't have been better! It was all very well organized and put together! I can't wait to go back... More

My first JAS festival and it was off the charts! The 2015 line up was off the charts, and I have to say NoDoubt did it the best, Lenny Kravitz came in second. The location is amazing, what a beautiful setting. First evening the concert was evacuated due to lightning but it resumed as soon as the threat was gone.... More

The jazz festival is a place I've wanted to go but kept waiting for someone willing to go with me. Finally, I got tired of waiting and went by myself! This was 3 days of fabulous music and wonderful people! I made lots of new friends. Although there are booths to purchase food, most of it is festival-type food. I... More

Huge concerts every Labor Day Weekend. You have to get tickets early, this gets very busy. Great outdoor location and always good food tents.
