An absolutely beautiful drive. The scenery is very diverse. Ranches along this route are so pretty. We had 3 deer cross in front of us & one paused long enough to pose for a picture.

Check with the ranger station about where you can and can't go The forest is very interesting with the blow down area, the previous forest fires and the wild fires.

We rented a Jeep and headed to Routt National Forest to explore the beautiful landscape. Breathtaking views all around to soak up and enjoy. Whether Jeep riding, hiking, biking or any other exploration, pack a lunch and head out to enjoy this beautiful landscape.
