There are trails here for whole family. Most trails paved and wide - to both top and bottom views of falls. There are range of length of trails as well. Views of the falls were spectacular.

Absolutely beautiful. My children 3 to 8 did the walk just fine and were able to play along the creek at the bottom of the falls

Easy access to a gorgeous waterfall and an easy/moderate day hike for the upper falls. We took our 7 year old and a group and enjoyed a backpack lunch for a leisure few hours of hiking!

Don't stop at the falls. Cross the bridge and continue up the trail to the second falls. Fabulous hike!

The is one of Steamboat's treasures. Hiking trails beside the falls to another set of falls about 30 minutes up and the hike to the Continental divide and lake. Wow.

In the "shoulder seasons", it's anyone's guess. Personally, we hiked almost to the top with boots in early October, but the trail eventually got a little too icy and slippery and we turned around.
