We have used the stables several times over the years and are impressed with how well the ranch cares for the horses and cattle. The rangers are knowledgable and do their best to match each person with a horse that fits their abilities. I had the pleasure of going on a round up and they helped to coach me through... More

Due to weather conditions we were not able to horseback ride and our sleigh ride was shortened to 30 minutes. As it turned out that was the perfect amount of time. It was fun and our guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Great activity if you have kids.

We took a sleigh ride during Christmas week and enjoyed a lot! Reasonable price and had animals at stable and had all the fixings for smores on a fire after the ride! Loved the hot chocolate too! Very cold that day, need to dress warm. The sleigh drivers were very friendly and knowledgeable,

We booked a 90 minute trip and it was incredibly relaxing and exhilirating. Electra & the other team members at the stables were very knowledgeable and thorough. They were all great guides and told stories about each of the horses as well as the surrounding landscape, the resort and all its history. The horses each had their own personality and... More

Loved the experience and the wranglers make you feel safe. My wife was a little scare but it was all good. Anthony, Maggy and Sonic are simply the best staff. I will go back because I had a awesome time in the mountain ridding. I’ am a cowboy now.

Not only is the resort an amazing place to stay, right down the road and on a piece of their 6000 acres is the grandaddy of all stables. This is as luxurious as you can get! This was our 3rd visit to Devil's Thumb and our 4th time riding and we are already talking about coming back! Our "Wrangler" Sonnet... More

Our wranglers greeted our group and had horses lined up according to our experience and build. We set out for about an hour ride through the hills and the wranglers gave us the background of the ranch and explained its history. By the end of the trip, I was ready to move to Tabernash. It was a great experience and... More

I had not ridden a horse since childhood so I was a little nervous about my ride here as I arrived with my wife for her "birthday" ride as she loves horses. I am a city guy so I don't spend much time around the farm or ranch. We got checked in by friendly faces and got a quick how-to... More

The staff was great. Good horses well trained and well cared for. We took 2 family rides and were very happy with the experience. Recommend this stable when in the Fraser Valley.
