Booked a private lesson for our family. Woodfin was our instructor. Very happy how he accessed everyone, listened to our concerns ( haven't skied in 10 years, broken leg last time) and worked with all of our ski levels. Gave us confidence that we could ski together the rest of our vacation. 15year old was starting over learning, 19 yr... More

1/4/17 My husband got me a group ski lesson for Christmas. I've tried snowboarding before and didn't like it so I figured I would give skiing a try. My lesson was from 11-3:45pm and we met outside of the ticket area. When I arrived I told my instructor that I think my boots were too tight and we told me... More

The classes are very well explained and the slopes are very easy. Separate Classes for children and adults . If you are a first timer, don't be afraid to try this. . Kids have their own school so parents and their kids cannot learn together unless you book a private lesson.

My kids(age 15 and 12) had two days of private lessons with Joanne, and they and I could not have been more pleased. She is very sweet and pleasant, and they absolutely loved her. In general at ski resorts we have found that the private lessons are more than worth the cost vs the group school lessons. Here was definitely... More

It's been over 20 years since I skied and it was my first time skiing out West so I really wanted to take a lesson. I thought it might be good to brush up on the basic skills and make sure I was building up on proper technique so I decided to go with the "Never Ever" group lesson. The... More

I had not skied since college and was not very good then. My girlfriend was a life long skier who had lived on the slopes as a child but had not skied for about 10 years and had only skied once with the new shaped skis and had not liked them. So we both had different reasons to want to... More

We had a private lesson for 4 adults w Heidi and could not be more pleased! She was informative, encouraging, and energetic. Our children had a private lesson and were not too impressed. We then did a group lesson for them, again not good. We later allowed them to ski w us and they enjoyed that much better. It seemed... More

the slopes and environment at Telluride are the best, but our kids experience in ski school was just satisfactory. no real enthusiasm on the part of the instructors to make our kids learn to ski better; more of a baby sitting service than some of the other ski schools we have used.

This is the second year we enrolled my son (5) in ski school and I cannot say enough wonderful things. Unlike other ski schools they spend a lot of time working with the kids on the technical components of skiing- how to stop, transition to parallel form, etc, All while having fun. Last year they had my son on lift... More

First time adult 40 year old skier(s) with friend who was also over 40. I was very nervous about coming on trip in the first place since I had never skied before. Moreover, I was completely unsure if people of color would be welcomed but rest assured this was only a fear and definitely not a reality; everyone was super... More
