Really beautiful location, far from the highway. Super hikes all around. Bit of a bumpy dirt road drive to get there (which we think is fun, but may not be for everyone). Amazing wildlife. Fun to canoe and snowmobile.

Best advice: download the directions from Piney River Ranch website before you go! The drive is bumpy, but well worth it. Just take your time and enjoy the views along the way. We were able to take a last minute horseback ride up the mountain,...More

Long drive on gravel keeps so many away and allows the regulars to have a nice and uncrowded day. Really beautiful views. It is a shame to miss this one.

I wasn't aware that they had overnight accommodations. I've only been there for day visits.
