I visited this garden expecting something special, only to find a nice but unmemorable garden. Although a nice place to visit, there was nothing about this garden that would set it above dozens of others I have visited. It actually is a small part of...More

Beautiful garden with a scavenger hunt for the kids. Great playground. Perfect first day morning activity or walk. If you have a large group there is a field where you can play games.

We enjoyed walking the beautiful gardens featuring the various climatic zones in Colorado. After the first trip when they primarily to enjoy the playground, the kids went back to thoroughly explore the children's garden.

The three acres are packed with alpine gems. It rewards slow attentive strolling, preferably with a guide. Design by microclimate and groupings. A gardener's delight and a family experience. We came to Vail just for this garden, and were not disappointed.

I agree with those who answered one hour. We did not visit with kids, but we spent about an hour in the park. I did not read every word of the interesting signs, but read enough to get the gist of them. The gift shop is... More
