Shakedown Bar is Vail's, and one of Colorado's, premiere music venues that is owned and operated by a local, world touring musician. Our reputation is based on a high level of music experience, nightly. Shakedown is an experience, not just a bar or music venue. Come see us and let us show you. Cozy, warm bar

Saw a great live music performance of Grateful Dead music. The bar was an intimate setting to listen, dance and groove to live music.

I met the love of my life here and haven't looked back since. I love you Shakedown! Town Calvary and brothers keeper are the best house bands in America. Great staff and cheap drinks. What more could you want?

We are in town for a guys ski vacation, and decided to check out the Shakedown Bar after the Burton US Open. A few of us got there earlier, and paid the $10 cover for the live band. Once we got inside, a mix up in who was ordering what led my friend and I to make the same drink... More

My husband and I stopped in after a day on the slopes. They did not open until 4. We had a few $1 12oz Coors lights and they had great live music. A for sure stop for a beer.

Went there with my friends after the Oktoberfest in Lionshead. We had such an amazing time. The live music was awesome! We danced all night and closed down the bar! What a fun night out!!!!

Great band line up, fun environment, and good sound system. Shakedown is one of two of my favorite bars in Vail because of the live music. It is not fancy, but it's is fun. The dance floor was packed last night.

I've been lucky enough to visit shakedown during the summer and the winter now, and it's always a great time! Service is fast, the drinks are reasonably priced and the music is good. The crowd is always a great one. Aside from my girlfriend constantly telling me how attractive the bar tender with long hair was all night, I can't... More

This place is small--and crowded, but if you want live music that rocks look no further. Their drink selections are epic and they allow pizza to be delivered into the place. How can you go wrong with that?

While I do love Scott Rednor and Brothers Keeper, I truly miss the days of The Club and Steve Meyer. Steve's show was uncomparable fun. Here's the pros/cons from my humble opinion: Pros: the remodel was great and it's much easier to move in the tight space. Scott and Brothers Keeper - truly good music also some good local acts... We have been skiing many times but this place was the Best après ski place I have been to. Are there nicer places in Vail, yes, are there better alcohol deals yes. But if you want to drink, singalong to great music and get a little crazy this place fits the bill
