Bishop Castle is a popular spot and a very interesting place to visit for adults and children. It looks like a building from a Harry Potter movie, very eccentric just like the man who constructed it over 40 years ago, you won't be disappointed.

It's out of the way but really worth a visit. Jim Bishop has been working on this place for over 40 years and I've watched it grow for 30. Unbelievable that one man could do all that in one lifetime. Alert: if Jim is there...More

A free attraction but they do appreciate donations. It's a known castle built by a local man starting at a young age while still adding to his property. His vision shows a castle within built walls and maybe small posts for overnight guests. Upon arrival,...More

A cool place, albeit with lots of strange signs. Amazingly done and beautifully intricate architecture. Well worth the stop here. I went inside and took a bunch of different staircases up into the walkways.

The Beautiful castle is built by Jim Bishop and he continues to add onto the building. You can make a donation to help him continue to maintain and build onto the castle. The castle includes beautiful stained glass work, I believe some of it was...More

If you're passing through the area and have time, it might be worth a stop for a few min. But I'd never go out of my way for it. The owner is just as unstable as the structure he is famous for, and his ramblings...More

There is no formal parking lot. You are just parking on the side of the highway. Parking during the week would be fine. On the weekends, it gets busy so it might be tricky. Also, be careful if it has rained a lot because the... More
