I am partial to Clyde's, but I know when to go and when to stay away. When we did go it was their "pre-season" weekend opening so I should have known better. Yep, there were lines with no direction as to where to get in...More

We truly enjoyed this old steam powered apple press. So nice to see the old but perfect way of doing things. Loved that they used the leftovers for the cows.

What a great place to see how cider is made & be able to purchase fresh made baked goods & cider. There was even free taste testing of hard cider. You could smell the apples when you got out of your car!

Visited Clyde's Cider Mill on a bright sunny day. The aroma of cider and apple goodies is wonderful. The old steam powered cider mill is an engineering marvel from years past. Demonstrations on week-ends. Great cider, hot or cold. A wine tasting daily. Country store...More

Clydes is usually open right up until Christmas and then closes until the following season. I enjoy going at the end because of their mark downs. A must see when visiting Southeastern CT in December!
