I have been visiting this park since I was a kid, Apparently the budget cuts in the State have affected the upkeep of out State Parks as it is evident here that things have been "let go". Swimming area is frequently closed down through out the season due to high bacteria levels. Very disappointed to see this happen to a... More

When I was a kid I went to this park 2 weeks very summer for swimming lessons. The park looks about the same, but they have put in some restrictions regarding where you can swim. Brought back some great memories.

A small park tucked away in a corner of North Haven. A secluded hideaway with a lake for fishing and swimming. There are trails for walking and areas for picnicking. The lake is stocked for fishing. For those seeking some outdoor leisure activities without having to travel too far, this is the perfect spot.

This little park is a nice getaway place in the Wallingford-Meriden-Berlin, CT area. It's claim to fame include a sandy beach area for swimming, fishing, picnic areas, pavillions w/grills, short hiking trails, nature views and open areas for kicking a ball around or flipping a frisbee. It's small in size, as compared to some of the other, larger state parks,... More

I really don't like anything about the park. There are no walking trails and the pond at the park is not very inviting to take a dip. Just not a great place to have a picnic nothing exciting.

It's a peaceful spot, great place for a picnic, not crowded. A well kept secret. Great tadpoles, educational water science trip.
