This was a great venue for a company-sponsored event. We rented the whole boat, hired Ripka's Beach Cafe to cater it and we couldn't have asked for better weather! Working with Jerry and Tammi at Norwalk Seaport Association was a breeze. They were informative, accommodating and professional. Ripka's was also easy. Clyde, the owner, was helpful and put together a... More

we were looking forward to the narrarated cruise of the islands and wetlands. As we motored along, we kept waiting for the guide to talk about what we were seeing, but did not, I finally mentioned we thought it would be narrarated and then he started a very interesting story. As folks up forward chatte amongst themselves, he stopped, we... More

I loved this cruise the first time we went. The captain told us about the area and colorful stories about the people. This year no stories. Just a ride around in the boat. Could have been so much better.

We took a cruise on around the Norwalk Harbor last weekend and were captivated by the lovely and informative trip. Out on the water in and amid the lighthouses and islands for almost two hours, we learned about the area - both its history and its current issues and attributes. Our captain and the young man who did the narration... More

Park at Maritime Parking in South Norwalk - a short walk to Sheffield Dock where this cruise departs at 6PM. Bring appetizers and drinks on board (wine/beer/whatever you prefer). Two lovely hours are spent cruising the area and then head back past the lighthouse. Upon disembarkation walk a short distance to the restaurant for a three-course lovely meal. Get your... More

Great way to end any work week. Drive to the eclectic, urban chic, artistic Maritime Garage, park your car, walk a block and take a sunset cruise around the Norwalk Islands (includes a guided tour for those interested in learning about the Norwalk Islands), bring your own refreshments, after a relaxing, interesting conversation cruise back to the dock and walk... We were looking for something different than just a friday night dinner out with friends. The Norwalk Island Sunset cruise was perfect. It was relaxing but fun and we got to see all the local islands around Norwalk. We didn't have any idea there were so many and that some were inhabited as well. We brought a bottle of wine... More
