Cover Island provides a lovely setting for walking, swimming, or just having a picnic. And you can even launch you kayak, canoe, or small boat for a trip in the water of the Sound.

On the weekend, it is full on the good weather. People get together for BBQ, playing volley ball, soccer, jogging and, so on... Nice and saf e place to bring a family and friends.

This is great for families. In addition to the beach, there is a walking path, a bicycle path, a concession stand, a field to play lawn sports.

Beautiful beach with a mile long walking/running path. There is also a great playground and nature center. Something wonderful for the entire family.
