The history in this building is amazing that you won't want to leave. This charming 2-story lighthouse dates back to the 1700's and the museum inside gives you the history of Stonington and the Battle of 1814... so many items to look at that you...More

The Old Lighthouse museum is small but we found it to be quite worth the modest price of admission. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse to see the surrounding area, and the view is quite extensive on a clear day. The museum...More

Sorry for the delay in replying. Yes there is a huge parking lot at the end of the street which is just a very short walk to the museum and if you park facing west you will enjoy the most beautiful sunset over the water.
