Beautiful, typically Greek if it's night life and noisy bars you want go elsewhere. This is a very quiet place , Beautiful and just what you need for a holiday. Parasol and two sunbed ranging between €5/8 per day very reasonable . Love it.

A cute beach right at the harbour. An instinctive choice when you get off the ferry and don't know the island yet.

A small beach at the port, sandy, not very crowded even in August, beautiful, picturesque with the white-washed houses behind and the colorful fishing boats in front. You can't miss it if you visit Irakleia.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question. We visited Iraklia via sailboat vs. traveling by air or ferry. I hope someone else can help you.
