We had a gorgeous warm, breezy visit to this huge state park. The beach looked inviting and we need to come back this summer! Loved just walking around...plenty of parking, picnic tables, views, facilities and geese! The 911Memorial is great.

Perfect location for bringing young family to learn how to rollerblade, ride bikes, etc. The park is very open which allows kids to run around and enjoy their surroundings. The park includes a beach front, forested area, open parking lots, walk ways, and a park...More

It is a diner that is an institution in Westport so you go. Meh diner fare. Breakfast not great as everything is dried out...even omelets

Even on a winter's day, this is a lovely beach to walk along...beautiful views, lots of parking, easy access to the highway, and best of all in the off-season, it's free!

I came here on LaborDay before summer ended. I enjoyed the beach, clean, large, and relaxing, and the paths in the park. It is relaxing to walk on the coast. My only trivial problem is the amount of seagulls though, but what beach does not...More

Good place to come and walk. There is also a beach and few disc golf baskets. Good place to walk around with kids, but could definitely benefit from playground.

Being on the "sound" it a protected waterway. There are no waves. It is however a wonderful beach in an upscale CT town.
