One of the better mid-atlantic beaches, clean, not overcrowded. Lifeguards until about 5pm. More relaxed than OCMD and Rehobeth, better than Any NJ beach. No close restrooms or parking. Pet friendly, over all good. Best part is nice blue mats on walkway from road to...More

Typical east coast beach, wide and clean. No restrooms that I could see. Parking is very problematic, requiring a permit (using the Parkmobile app) or metered parking if you can find it.

The waves are perfect. Sand is great. Plenty of room. Lifeguards present until 5 pm. There are even ice quads driving around selling flavored ice. Be careful where you park. Have fun.

Lifeguards are on point here, seemed very attentive. Beach is pretty wide and clean. Not overly populated (and the visit was the week after July 4th) and there was even a wedding going on. But not a long walk, only about a block to the...More

Nice Clean well maintained beach, beach rental vendors (for chairs and umbrellas), parking was challenging.

Although we won't stay in Dewey again, we highly recommend the more laid-back and more sparsely populated beach, particularly after 2 p.m. Unfortunately we didn't see any restrooms but there were umbrella rentals (until about 5 or 6) and drink carts. The beach is clean...More

Very nice, clean beach. Great to watch sunrise and sunset. Very popular so beach can get crowded depending on time of year.

Dewey Beach is smaller and with less people on it , very clean , quiet and is a great beach to get a sunrise or a sunset photo. June is a good month to visit. Fred the Photographer

This beach was perfect for my Girlfriend and I.. Not to crowded. Easy to walk. Sand was nice! Even saw some dolphins

This is the least crowded Delaware beach. 15/day for parking is the only downside, but worth it to have some space on the beach.

We stayed in this house with 9 people, 7 adults and two kids and there were a couple more beds. I think it sleeps 12. It was fabulous- a really short walk to the beach. We didn’t know the area either, but we were totally... More

Weather will be perfect. Not many people will be down, no crowds whatsoever. I think most places are still open at this time.
