Cape Henlopen State Park has great blacktop parking pads and very nice and clean bathrooms. Plenty of shade and big parking lot and bathhouse for the beach. Lots of bike trails and campground is about 1/2 mile from beach easy walk.

We spent day #2 at Henlopen after a day at Rehoboth. Glad we did. Much better for families. Offers a bathhouse with changing area and allows 10x10 pavilions on the beach (as opposed to Rehoboth). The park fee is much less than parking in Rehoboth....More

We went to the fishing pier here at Cape Henlopen. Everyone was super friendly. We were both crabbing and fishing. There is a little store, bathrooms, and beach access next to the store. It's a great place to go!

It is very picturesque. Free bicycles (for two hours) is super! I liked the beautiful tent camping spot we had. The military info/exhibits were interesting, and the nature center and fishing pier were great. But, the traffic was bad getting to the park. The park...More

Our friends brought us here where we climbed the watch tower & had grand views of the bay & ocean. Bikers & hikers were there, but not in the numbers our friends report for the summer. Gorgeous place to explore & walk or ride.
