The path for navigating and observing the pond area is meant for both bike and foot traffic. There may be a place where this works, but Gordon's Pond is not that place. My girlfriend and I spent most of our time stepping off the path...More

Amazing views thru out the trail. From high above the beach and water to a lovely bridge over scenic wet lands. Historic sights as well. Make sure to wear sunscreen and take bug spray. Biting flies were everywhere.

This part of Delaware is rich in parks and wonderful places to simply walk and enjoy nature, this is one of the best we have found.

It was an extra special treat in April as the weather was very nice and there was hardly anyone around. The birds and the pond seemed much more vivid and inviting. This is a spot you need to visit when you are in the area.

Walked the first 2 miles of the trail yesterday. Nice gravel walking path, with an elevated overlook at the .75 mile marker and an elevated walking path close to and beyond the 2 mile mark. Passed the occasional bikers and jogger but most the time...More

Visiting in early May was great--no crowd. Hiking the trail through the pines was lovely and relaxing. Looking forward to biking the trail next time.

Accessible from Rehoboth Beach/North Shores, I was pleased to visit this site! It's very popular with hikers and cyclists, and even accessible to mobility impaired people. I recommend checking the tidal tables and visiting at high tide. The park pass also gets you daily access...More

We took the dog for a walk at Gordon's pond. It was awesome! The views are amazing, and the trail is very well kept up!

Sunrise to sunset...the park rangers ride through the lot occasionally too. Make sure you're out before they lock the gates at sunset.

A five minute walk depending on where you park, up a big dune embankment, down the other side and you'll find about 100 yards of sand before you hit the water.
