Very nice trail w/great views of Gordon pond and the Beach. Great spot to bird watch. This trail connects Rehoboth and Cape Henlopen State Park... & can be used as part of the 16 mile loop using the Breakwater Junction trail.

Part of the Cape Henlopen Stae Park, this beach is located on the Rehoboth entrance (rather than the Lewes entrance.) it is crowded only on major summer holidays. People are friendly. One side is known as the gay beach, but all are welcome. Great views,...More

Just two miles north of the noise and bustle of the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, is the trailhead for the Gordons Pond bike trail. It's a quiet area, with acres of low marshy wetlands teeming with birds. The bike trail connects all the way to Lewes...More

If you're really ambitious you can go all the way to Cape Henlopen State Park. Lots of waterbirds to see - including a clapper rail that hopped up just as I turned around. Fair bits of shade if you go in hot weather as we...More

We really love Gordon's Pond. No restrooms just porta potties, no concession stands and not a lot of kids. Sometimes we like to go to the beach where there are more adults than families. Very clean beach area

Gordons Pond is a lovely beach that is part of the Delaware State Park system. There are two things to be aware of though. This beach has no life guards and only has porta potties.

I've run on parts for the Breakwater Trail in the past, but this was the first time I parked at Gordon's Pond and actually road the Gordon's Pond Trail to Herring Point. It's a lovely ride, but gets pretty socked in with people towards lunch...More

Amazing park with well marked paths, suitable for walking, biking or jogging. Rented bikes from Mike's Bike shop and our bike ride through the park was the highlight of our stay in Rehoboth.

Yes, the surface is suitable for road bikes. In years past, there were some very rough segments, but they have been repaired.

This should answer your question (and it is directly off of the Rehoboth beach laws website): Dogs - It is illegal for dogs to run at large at any time. The City has both a leash law and a pooper scooper law which are... More
