    Good place to walk around
Fun place to hang out and step out on the beach in the off season. Visited in late April, and I'm guessing the summers are more crowded. Definitely check out Thrasher's French Fries, but guard your cup because seagulls like to swoop down. In fact, that's just true of all food.

    70s music for a 74 year old.
This is about the bandshell concert at the boadwalk.Pros... talented group had the crowd hopping. A seats provided a great view. Place was jammed but no inappropriate behavior. Rosie loved it..it was her 70s music. But... Seats were hard on the butt. Had to park 4 blocks away. Without my Rosie it would be tough with the cane. On the whole glad we went.

    Delightful beachside stroll
About a mile in overall length. Typical shops and eateries, easy access to the beach and not as mobbed as Ocean City, but still pretty busy. Nice ocean views, plenty of benches, but few gazebos with shade. Always an enjoyable stroll, and the people watching is always entertaining.

    A blast from the past
I hadn't been to Rehoboth Beach in a long, long time. The boardwalk hasn't changed much...although a few multi-story condo buildings have popped up. Many of the food vendors have been here for years. The boardwalk is only about a mile long and its an easy walk to see all of it. Don't forget to get the fries, soft custard and salt water taffy!

    Relaxed walk along the boardwalk
Didn't get to the enjoy the beach on this visit but walked the entire boardwalk. Lots of places to stay and dine. We stopped into Victoria's which I would recommend. There are many stores that run perpendicular to the boardwalk, and many smaller walkways with additional shops. A great area to stay for a few days or a week, Just the girls, couples, or the family.

    A Nice Walk
It may be because I visited in late September but I did not find this Boardwalk as congested and crowded as I am accustomed to at the jersey shore, thus making it a very enjoyable experience. The Boardwalk itself was clean and well maintained as is the beach right next to it. The Boardwalk is lined with stores, eateries and places to stay. There is a section with rides but it was closed for the season, but Zelky’s arcades were open. Further north on the Boardwalk is a small piece of history worth visiting. Overall nice place to visit and stroll.

Candy, fries, ice cream and tons of nostalgia. I love the boardwalk.
The Rehoboth Boardwalk has a special place in my heart. I originally came here for the very first time 20 years ago, being from Puerto Rico, it was a completely different experience than I was used to when visiting the beach. The Boardwalk is a great place for families and friends. The boardwalk is very well kept with plenty of trash cans, showers and public bathrooms available. There’s also water fountains available. Parking in Rehoboth is pretty expensive though, I would highly recommend taking the bus in from the park and ride if you’re looking to save money or getting a permit and parking on a side street. Otherwise you’re stuck with meter parking. Once you’re at the boardwalk theres a plethora of great food options and entertainment, with arcades, miniature golf, shopping and of course Funland which is basically an indoor/outdoor carnival style entertainment area right on te boardwalk. The beach is easily accessible with multiple entries to get down to the ocean. If you want to step off the boardwalk and down Rehoboth avenue there’s even more food options. At the boardwalk theres also the bandstand which has live music and events year round. Whether you’re from DE or you’re from out of town, the boardwalk is always a great place to go to get some ice cream and enjoy the ocean views. (The summer can be crazy with a million people, come during the off season for a better, quieter experience. )

As every other boardwalk in USA, jam packed with tons of souvenir shops & eateries, definitely not as many blocks & rides as Ocean City MD 20+ miles down the road, but still nice maintained.

Lovely boardwalk. While the boardwalk itself is about 1 mile long...the portion of it that has shops is much smaller. Nothing like what you'd see in Atlantic City.

Interesting variety of small shops and lots of eating options, especially as make your way toward Rehoboth Avenue.

Lovely views of the beach and Atlantic Ocean.

Can get crowded during the peak summer months and weekends...so be prepared for lines for shops/food, crowded beaches and less parking close to the boardwalk. We arrived on a summer Wednesday and had to park about 1/2 mile out along Rehoboth Avenue and make our way to the Boardwalk...not a bad walk but can be troublesome for older folks, kids and those with limited mobility.

Lots of metered street parking throughout the area...can be paid via the app or by credit card at the meter. I chose credit card since as I saw a few reviews claiming the they were ticketed despite using the app to pay for parking. Be sure to read the street signs...some areas (not on the main streets) are city-permit only...I'd say stick to the meters to be safe. The meters are about $3 per hour and are in effect from May 15th through September 15th , 10am - 10pm.

Very clean boardwalk with many restaurants and shops. Less crowded than Ocean City. Still just a beach town, which I loved.
