Caught the First State Ballet Theatre performance under the stars. Always a good time at the Freeman Stage, whether it's a concert, a play or the ballet. Outdoor venue, bring your own chair. Concession stand in the back. I make it a point to catch...More

Highly recommend to see a show or a concert. Great food at the Cove on the deck before the concert and after the concert. Or you can sit on the deck and pay a small fee to have dinner and listen to the concert just...More

We arrived early to get a fairly unobstructed view of the stage from the lawn and sat next behind a barrier so no one would be in front of us. A Freeman Stage employee literally moved the barrier right before the show and seated two...More

In a perfect world, all outdoor concert venues would feel as intimate and quality as The Freeman Stage! Not to mention, that it is nestled in the picturesque Bayside community complete with the residents being ambassadors for the venue.

We discovered this amazing venue by accident a few years ago, this year we built our trip around a "Straight No Chaser Concert". We are considering relocating to the Delaware Beaches and I would love to volunteer at this venue.

We have seen a few shows here. Staff is always pleasant and nice. Lines for food and drink can be long, but they have added food trucks this year which is nice. We have seen a comedian and a couple of concerts here. We will...More

We’ve attended a few concerts at Freeman Stage. The venue is great but we have found several times that the main artist we came to see only sang for 90 minutes. We’ve been very disappointed with the length of the concerts. And the price certainly...More
