This smaller museum has one of the countries finest Pre-Raphaelites painting collections: breathtaking. Add the countries finest illustrators , a fine contemporary collection, regular shows and a good café. Hard to beat. Discounts for seniors and students. Free on sight parking, A must see attraction.

Absolutely Beautiful. I took my grand-daughters to introduce them to sculptures and the labyrinth. The labyrinth was surrounded by honeysuckle, A perfect day.

This has the best exhibition of both in the country Pyle being a native son of Wilmington and other illustrators as well. Didn't realize that I knew Pyle's work until I cam across the pirate piece "Marooned" which I realized had been used in a...More

It was a real pleasure being educated about Howard Pyle, America's father of commercial book illustration (N.C. Wyeth was a student) and the Pre-Raphaelite Arts and Crafts artists Rossetti and William Morris in the rich collections of the Delaware Art Museum. The presentation and labels...More

There is no admission price for the sculpture garden. Also, the museum is free all day on Sundays.
