This park was built for kids with physical disabilities in mind. It's a great little park with easy parking and lots of room to run. While parents sit on the park bench, it's very easy to keep your eyes on your kids at all times. Clean and safe.

A little hard to find...we came from northbound 202, onto weldin rd and it is immediately on your right, kind of hard to see from the road, if you get to a roundabout you've gone too far. Lots of things to climb on, slide down, run, and touch. Mostly sunny with some shaded areas near benches and a couple of... More

The Can Do Playground is a wonderful place with all kinds of equipment accessible to children who need a little help. It is in the Alapocos park where you can reserve the pavilion for private parties and fund raising events. There are athletic fields and walking trails where you can come face to face with friendly deer. The park has... More

We had been looking forward to a new playground. What a disappointment . Since it's in a state park, there's an entrance fee. Every child there was just wandering vaguely, because there's no playground element that really interacts. It was just a padded room with weather.

This is the best playground for safety and usability in the state. There is enough room for adults and children on the various playgrounds. There is sand box with shovels and soccer field close by. The bathroom is always clean and there is a soda machine outside the bathroom doors. You need to get a DE State park pass or... More

By far the coolest playground in town, the Can-Do playground boasts tons of fun and safe activities for kids right in the center of Brandywine Hundred.

Great playground for younger children and completely and easily wheelchair accessible ... great place to entertain wheelchair/scooter bound grandparents who will enjoy being up close and personal with the young grandchildren as they play. Downside is the "state park" designation that requires admission/parking fees. I think it may only be a few dollars, but still..... there used to be a... More
