About
Tenaxx Estate is a beautiful park with woods and an arboretum (collection of trees) which specializes in weeping trees. In the woods you are confronted with life-size roaring dinosaurs. Kids can hunt smaller dino’s with a laser gun. Indoors you find the Dino-Experience, with replicas, skeletons and skulls of dinosaurs. Children can excavate the skeleton of a T-Rex. Tenaxx Estate has a survival run with various obstacles. Rowing boats are available on the pond.

Probably the only arboretum that you can visit as a family without boring your kids
Sep 2019
We went here after reading the reviews and amongst the reviews we read quite a bit of worrying ones. Despite that we thought we'd give it a go and see it for our selves.

What we were expecting due to the negative reviews:
•Swarms of angry wasps.(I know wasps don't technically swarm, this is just a figure of speech)
•Rude staff.
•Ugly dinosaur models.

How we judged those points:
•Wasps? There where wasps, some, definitely not swarms. The amount of wasps was comparable to the rest of the country at that moment so in my opinion not something that the park can be held accountable for.
•Rude staff? Not at all, quite the opposite in fact.
•Ugly dinosaur models? Well yes and no, there where definitely a few older models that have seen better days but there where also a few really beautiful ones.

Verdict:
We had a lovely time. The amount of different weeping trees is far more impressive than the dinosaurs to be honest but the dinosaurs were a nice touch for the kids. It's probably one of the only arboreta that you can visit with children without them getting bored. One can only imagine what this place will look like in a few hundred years when the trees have matured.
